LOSU Professor Found Dead

 Ned Spencer, November 8, 2017

Students attending Los Oscuro State University were interviewed by police today after a gruesome discovery.  Campus security contacted LOPD during the early morning hours after Dr. Brandon Ford, head of the Supernatural Studies Department, was found dead on the grounds.

"I never got to actually meet Dr. Ford." student Gracie Wright told police.  "When we started classes in September they were already taken over by Dr. Campbell."

"Indeed the fall 2017 term did not start with Dr. Ford in his usual position at the podium, but with Dr. Phillip Campbell in his place.

"I had just gotten a call by the dean..." stated Dr. Campbell "I had no idea where Brandon was.  But classes were starting and they needed an instructor so I stepped in."

Campbell, who is primarily a field researcher, took over the class fully expending Ford to return within a few days.  "After a few weeks, I got concerned.  I voiced my concerns to the dean, who told me not to worry about it and just continue teaching.  I figured that the dean's office had already talked to the police so I didn't make a big deal about it.  I had no idea..."

Police have released very few details concerning the death, however, we are given to understand that the cause of death was not natural.  One student, Jack Carpenter, told reporters "They already had a sheet on him when I got there, but there was a lot of blood.

Police advised that the Department of Extranormal Operations, who handles high profile supernatural crimes, is assisting with the investigation and currently searching Dr. Ford's home in Peggy, Texas.

If anyone has any information concerning the death of Dr. Brandon Ford, they are encouraged to contact Los Oscuro Police Tip Hotline at 1 800-555-2311.
